Huawei wins against Samsung claim to pay $ 11 million as fine

Months ago, Huawei filed lawsuits in China and the United States of America against the Korean giant Samsung for violating some of its patents.

China's Quanzhou Court ruled in favor of Huawei in the case of Samsung's violation of one of its fourth generation communication technologies and its use in more than 20 devices, which was a strong achievement calculated for its benefit.

The verdict ruled that China's division should pay $ 11.6 million, which is equivalent to more than 30 million products from Samsung, while some branches of the company were prevented from using registered patents for Huawei.

Several issues are still pending in Chinese and US courts, but in general Samsung will not be affected by this very small fine compared to the company's revenues of more than two billion dollars.
